オーエン 『歯の図譜、あるいは歯の比較解剖論』
Richard Owen（1804-1892）は、イギリスの生物学者・比較解剖学者・古生物学者。比較解剖学の深い知識によりキュヴィエの後継者と目され（師弟関係はない）、「イギリスのキュヴィエ」とも呼ばれた。科学史においては「恐竜」という語の創設と、ダーウィン進化論への激烈な反論で知られる。
本資料は、現生種・絶滅種双方を含めた「歯」の研究を徹底的に行った成果で、図版がふんだんに使用されている。
